Junior Account Executive

Title: Junior Account Executive

Contract Type: Full-time

  • Support Sales Managers and Directors to maintain and grow long-term relationships with wholesale accounts on behalf of the Plus Plus brands.
  • Perform seasonal outreach and actively prospect leads to build new accounts and business opportunities.
  • Present line to buyers during market, preparing for key accounts prior to appointments, studying account base to ensure proper information is being considered.
  • Work closely with buyers to ensure their purchases reflect the best selection based on the client’s sales history and expectations.
  • Provide market recaps to clients.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Provide competitive analysis externally and internally by understanding adjacencies and being proactive on learning how they are performing within the retailers.
  • Execute product knowledge seminars, store visits with follow up recaps with imagery and merchandising notes as well as build relationships with in-store associates, selling days etc.
  • Enter orders into system as they are received and maintain accurate books reflecting the sales process seasonally.
  • Assemble and disseminate weekly sales progress reports to our clients.
  • Travel to select markets to develop relationships, work with accounts, and plan in-store activations.
  • Represent the core values of our brand and communicate our goals and initiatives effectively both internally and externally.
  • Identify, pursue and deliver new business opportunities with new and existing brands that drive growth.
  • Provide strong support to team members using a collaborative approach.
  • Communicate effectively with accounts as well as management to ensure workflow and important matters are being addressed and completed in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a showroom and office that is always ready for presentation.
  • Sample collection management: receiving, inventorying, shipping, and maintaining.

The role supports the wider finance function through transaction processing, cash flow monitoring, payroll facilitation, and preparation for audits, while ensuring timely payments, accurate invoicing, and effective communication with vendors and customers. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting systems and Excel are essential.
